width of tj rear seat

i need a few measurements from a rear fold and tumble rear seat out of a tj

mainly the width from the farthest outside of the seat with all the brackets

and possibly some pics of how they mount to the floor

so they dont clip into the floor .... that stinks i was hopeing they would lock in like the new jk's do ..... i might have to change my plan

yeah pics would be great but dont jump through hoops i am just kinda looking for ideas

not a problem at all ... kinda funny b/c i forgot all about it too and a friend of mine sent me a link a few days ago for a rear tj seat on craigslist .... and i got to thinking

well i can probably make that work .... but a jk seat might be easier its all in the floor plus i think its a little wider

well it looks like i am going to try and make the tj seat fit ....... guy on a local wheeling board is hooking me up big time

his rear tj seat has been sitting in his basement since he bought his jeep new in 97 .... and he wants it out of the way .... can you say freebie

the back of my trailduster

check the buildup section it should be up top

i think i am going to build tool box/arm rests to fill in the sides and make the seat mounts

the wheel wells are like 48 inchs apart( i think) in the back of the trailduster so roughly 6 inchs wide on each side ... room for speakers and amps and all that good stuff :naughty:

i will let you know the guy giving me the seat said he might have the brackets too
