i know that i was just being a smart a$$ i was going to reply in a few mins....


it can be don with some prybars and tire lube, and ...... time


as long as you have a shop that will mount them for you i would have them do it. some shops cannot do oversized tires some can.

:withstupid: but i change my own on my buddies tire machine at his shop :rotfl: but i have changed a few dirt bike and atv tires by hand, definitely not fun, but now i can do atv tires on the machine to. but a few pry bars, and some time would be all ya need.

You can get a tire changer from harbor frieght for about $50. We have one mounted to the carport and it works great. We have changed 40s with ease.

I know its a little late, but go to the shop. I've worked at tire shops off and on for 13 years. The portable units are good if you know what you are doing AND nothing goes wrong. Spend the $10, your time is worth it. Just my $.02
