hey guys i have a 5.5" fabtech lift and im trying to decide on which trac bar to buy, i need to buy one soon because my axle shifted more towards the driverside and need to correct this problem, i heard a lot of discussion about the thuren trac bar and solid steel but the solid steel one only goes up to 3 inches, i mainly drive on road and occasionaly offroad,i want a strong low maintenance adjustable track bar, nothing over $300.00, and no im not going to make my own, please tell me where i should go, thanks
I have used the stock, DT and SJ. If I had to choose again I would probably give the Thuren bar a shot. Looks sturdy. And the others all had their draw back.
thuren. i just got mine and all i can say is "whoa!" its so much beefier than stock. i can't wait to put it on. i'd recommend the thuren, it's a nice product and you'd be helping a fellow PS'er get established.
check out the difference bw the stock (red) track bar and the thuren. all i can say is "whoa"!this is Dons' 0-3" track bar
i put it on yesterday. Don says to torque the frame bolt to 300 ft/lbs. holy crap! thats hard to do. i still need to get a pipe w/ a breaker bar on it. i think its only around 200 or so now.
