Where to mount CB?

Sorry, I know this has been covered, But I'm dumb and need pics. 95 Dodge reg. cab with the overhead console for the compass & temp. My truck does have the cavity where the pass. airbag was supposed to go. I also have a spotlight mounted in the roof , so as you can tell my options are limited.

In your truck I would mount it under the radio similar to mine but directly under the radio.

Man, Robo that's a {expletive}pit. Really fancy stuff you have there. Thanks for the pics. but not a fan of the knee baggin mount. Does all that stuff really work?
I have Bob Wagner's mount from Rip Rook. This isn't my truck, but similar to how mine looks.

Yep all of that stuff really works. Also I have never hit my knee on it. It is far enough out that there is plenty of room.
I don't know how my words got translated from {expletive}pit (i.e) airplane control area, into a bad word. But I really liked Robert's set up. Maybe I should have used the word "cabin" instead.
Not bashing it at all but man if you ever get into a wreck and hit your knee thats gonna hurt lol

Whether I hit my knee on a CB or a dash board it is still gonna hurt like hell. But the good thing about my truck is that if I was to ever get into a wreck with a car is that it is high enough that it will just go up and over and not just a sudden slam then stop into a object. So it wont hurt me as bad. :bigthumb:
i also have a reg cab, but directly under my radio i have that bin where i keep my wallet. i would move the cb just to the left of it, and under where that fold-down cubbie is. did that make sense? thats where i plan to mount mine. i like the spot where got-smoke listed too.

(im not sure if the style dash is the same)
i made one just like the mount for in the middle of the seats.
THis is how mine is mounted

I like it there. Before when i had it mounted under the radio it was hard to hear and with it being up there i have no problems hearing it

I got mine bolted to the dash panel too. It's plenty far from my knee, it's easy to hear, and I clip the mile on the overhead console (attach the clip to the mike and hang it off the clip). In a standard cab Dodge this is your best bet.

That's exactly what I was going to fab up... I already got the parts and everything. I'm going to buy that one though, and save myself some headache. :bigthumb:
I like that bog wagner mount. I'd get that if I didn't often have people sitting in the middle of my truck. Looks like it'd get in the way. WHen I get a CB I am thinking about mounting it inside the queer stopper (center console) and runing the mic wire out the side and just mounting the mike there somehow, but I doubt I'd be able to hear it. I can't put it under the seats because I have 2 amps, a cap, and a Sirius tuner under the seats. Glovebox might work though.
