V400- Nextel sim car question.

I got a motorola V400 and I have cingular for my service. Does anyone know if I can swap sim cards with a nextel phone?? I know you can do it with other motorola phones, how about those. Cause I can get some cheap through work and I hate my current phone and need something durable.
