4.10's will work but 4.56's will be a better choice. And the 35's are not discontiuned.
TrXus MT and gears
hey guys, im new to the site. Just like to say yall have alot of good info on here, thanks. I was wondering if anyone had heard of the Trxus mt being discontinued in the 34" and 35" range. I have heard this and was wondering if it was true. I was looking to put 35's on. Also what do you yall thing about 4.10 i know it should be done, and i probably will. Also on the highway what does lower gear ratio do, you are running at higher RPM's so does that mean my gas millage will go down even more.

prolly dont really need gears, yeah its nice but, i got stock gears and never had a problem offroad.
on road, its a little slower, but i didnt get it to be the fastest thing on the road. i got it to sling some mud in 2wd, and get un-stuck in 4wd.
just my experience, plus it saves cash for other things. like trannys, if you gotta dodge. :wall:

w/o a gear swap u may have premature tranny issues
jusy something to think about.
thanks guys.... will new gear help with gas at all i know its not a big issue just wondering. OH yeah sorry i have a chevy 1500 z71 with 4inhes and 33" soon to be 6 with 35 hopefully. ill have to fill out my profile

ya thats true, but if your just mall crawling then it should be fine.
but if you got the cash laying around then why not.
