like i said earlyer i think i will be trading in the old ram 1500, and be getting an f250 or f350 (non dually).....but i have a few questions....what are the pros and cons of a v10 to a turbo diesel , like gas mialage, power, tourque, and like the stuff that might go wrong with them

Well for a V10 the Ford engine is rather small (6.8L). The power stroke should have better gas mileage but it depends on how much towing you are gonna do and whether not you can deal with the rough ride charecteristics of the diesel.

Go with the turbo, there is so much added aftermarket options for the diesel,like the banks powerpacks. Don't get me wrong the V-10
are nice engines but alittle small, those diesel what else to say but BAD ASS

If I had to buy a Ford, hope that never has to happen, I'd only go with the Powerstroke.

Why are you lookin at ford's? I hear the new Dodge diesel's are just "sick" with power now! Unless it's a cost thing. (this I can understand)

Diesil is the best way to go. You will get tons more power, torque, gas mileage, and LIFE out of the engine. Plus it is a great sound to hear the roar of a diesil on the trails.

it is because of the cost that i am going with the ford over the dodge
