I was under the truck looking at suspension, trying to see if I could install a 5" without much difficulty and found that my rear diff has a sticker that shows the 3.55, but also says Trac-Lock. Is this MOPAR's LSD or am I trying to make myself believe that I have a LSD?

Thanx

The Trac-Loc is a 2 spider clutch pack operated LSD (limited slip differential) for light duty use. A step up without going to a full locker is the Auburn LSD with more pre-load and easy serviceability than the factory units.

Yeah I saw the same thing on my carrier when I replaced my gears. There a tons of different names for limited slips.

in 96 they used true track... i think. well, whoever it was are useually referd to as garbage lockers, because, well because they suck. stok they are ok, but the design will not hold up bigger (35 and up) tires. it slips more and the clutches wear out faster and before you know it you have an open diferential. two words... DETROIT LOCKER.
