Different restrictions for different states. Check with the local authorities in your state on what is acceptable as far as how dark the tint can be. I don't think it would matter whether it were a car or truck. Good luck...

I think the 2 front windows have to pretty light, like around 50%. For inspection you dont need to worry about the the other back windows, they can be as dark as you want.

Hey he is right, the front two windows (Passenger and Driver side) have to be within or above the state's tinted law. In TN it is 35%, so it would probably be in that range for GA. There are a couple of websites that show the charts for each state. Just search for Auto Tint.

I think it's 35% in Ca. also. Whatever you do though...I would not recommend double limo tint for the rear window...unless you like running over little lowered trucks. I had to take half the limo off the back of my truck after that. You just can't really see anything at night.

I have 2.5% limo tint on my back window and it is a pain to see out of it during the day or night, but it does look good.<IMG SRC="/board/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif">

I have heard of kits that make the back window operate by power. Has anyone else heard or seen this? I would like to put this on my truck cus having a quadcab the window is back there pretty far. Even with the factory tint on the rear window, its hard to back up at night sometimes.
