I havent seen, or dont recall, anyone talking about the Super Swampers Boggers. They have a 38.5" tire for 16" rim that I am considering. <!-- BBCode u2 Start -->http://www.4wheelparts.com/product2.asp?imseqn=27&occlass=INTE&cat=TIR" TARGET="_blank<!-- BBCode u2 End --> How do these do in the mud, on the street, on trails. I do an even mix of those 3 terrains, but being a daily driver it cant be too bad on wear. I do like the sound of mud tires though. Thanks

They kick ass in mud. They can dig in mud, sand and loose dirt though unless you can float over or dig to something with traction.

AS for the street, they are bias ply so they will wander a bit, be tough to balance wear fairly fast. About 20-30k probably.

Also, they don't have sufficiant lateral tracion if you are on ice/snow. In fact the voids are so large that any snow street driving can be tough.

For a trail only (driven or towed to the trail) they are awesome to have.

Thanks for the info. I actually was just finishing up reading a <!-- BBCode u2 Start -->http://www.off-road.com/chevy/tsl-bogger/" TARGET="_blank<!-- BBCode u2 End --> about these. They were saying that the tsl's are the better way to go on the street, and that there wasnt much difference between them offroad.

I have TSL's and they are great off-road and last twice as long on the street. The boggers wear fast and if you do rock crawling Boggers don't have side to side traction so you will slide off them. I'd go with the TSL's, unless you mainly do mud running and not much street then go with Boggers.

I'm running 39.5 Boggers, and as for mud and sand and anything I've found to drive through in South Texas they are outstanding....as for the highways...that's a different story. I see tread flying off behind me, and I can't hear anything cause of the howl.

So I exagerrate...I'm looking at swapping for TSL's so there's my crappy opinion.
