While on the subject of shocks, I will be soon getting a Skyjacker 5 inch lift that will go under my daystar spacers up front and my two inch blocks in the back. Question is, do I need longer shocks than are made for the 5 inch lift? If it won't matter, then I won't mess with it. The thought crossed my mind that I could get the shocks made for the 7 inch lift and they would be perfect. Keep in mind the only offroading I do is mud so flex isn't an issue, but I don't want a harsh ride b/c my shocks aren't the right length and are stretched out too far. Any feedback is appreciated.

If you are really interested in buying the shocks you couldn't asked at a better time. Go to any place that sells magizines and pick up a "Peterson's 4-Wheel & off-road" magizine. That issue features shock brands and what all they found they are good and bad about and how they performed on three different types of trucks. If you don't want to pick one up I can scan the articles on them and send them to you.

Id go with the Rancho 5000's they ride better then the procomps on and off road (ive had em both) i had the procomp es3000s
and they didnt last that long off road.
the 9000's are more expensive and since you dont do much off roading you prolly dont need em.
