Shocks for this heavy beast...

What shocks should I go with? Since I am dropping the lift, what shocks should I look into getting? I want somthing that is going to keep the wheels on the ground, but also not to stiff as this pig is stiff enough as it is. Not going to have the dual shocks anymore, as that is going with the kit when sold, so its just going to be the standard up fron ant rear. up front, 3" coil spacer, and the TC rear block (about 1" lift)

So, what is ya'll suggestions?

Bilstien 5100s seem to be working well for everyone, so those are what I'm going with.
do any of our vendors here sell them, I havent found any yet. Plus, was wondering where I can get them, and if PS members get discounts?

What about the 5150's? heard they are a little stiffer, but handle awesome
I bought my Rancho RS9000's from 4WheelCustoms. The truck rides better than stock with my 35's on and I leave them at the middle setting. That would be my recommendation for your truck. :bigthumb:
what would it take to swap your lift onto a 2003 ram 2500
Alpha, you're a TDR member right?
Off Road Wherehouse has a TDR discount on the 5100's for 0-3" of lift. I think you have to call to get it though.
if you want a nice ride, talk to don. he can valve up some kings or foxs to ride sweet. otherwise, you can get some 9000's because then you can play with the valving.

actually thinking about that... but worried they will be way more than I can afford
I went down this road before with ORW and others regarding Bilstein 5100s. I ordered a set only to be told that they were "not in stock." Come to find out they were (are?) on national backorder which I had to find out by banging heads.

Long story short, if you order a set, have the person on the other line go retrieve and physically have 4 shocks in his/her hand before you finalize an order.
