I am thinking of going in half with a friend to buy a hell truck. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was illegal to have a roll cage built around the outside of the entire vehicle. The truck we are looking at is a 85 yota with 33x14.50 baja belteds. The body is rusted and wanting to fall apart which means it is in just perfect condition for what we need. The engine has been rebuilt and he only wants a thousand for it. Its hard to find any kind of 4x4's these days that run for under 1500 hundred out here. The roll cage is just for acting stupid and not being afraid to roll the thing. But we need for it to be street legal. If anyone knows anything about the subject id be glad to hear about it. Thanks

Hey Toyota Love. I don't that should be illegal unless it sticks out on the sides very far. A hell truck isalways fun, let me know how it goes.

Hey, I wouldnt think it would be illegal unless it stuck out the sides like 6 inches. Yeah a hell truck is one hell of a good time if ya ask me. So I have to go with Yota on this one a say that it shouldn't be illegal unless it stuck out the sides far.
