Popping the big question... Gimme some ideas guys and gals!UPDATE: SHE SAID YES!!!

Who's got some good ideas on how to pop the big one... It is going to be w/in the 10 days before X-mas and can't require me to travel anywhere...

Here is one that I think would be cool...
I have a friend who's dad has a small plane who said he could help, take us up at night and have set up in an open field lit up with x-mas lights,"MARRY ME?"... Would require a generator which is available and just some friends to help... That sound like a good one?

She kinda is expecting it soon, and I don't want it to be something that she knows is coming, like if I do something totally out of the ordinary, she will be expecting it all night... I figure that w/ the x-mas light thing I could just tell her that my friends dad offered to take us up to look at christmas lights from the air and it would seem like thats all we were going to be doing...

Someone also said to get them glow-in-the-dark stars that you stick on the cealing and wait till we go to bed and they will light up... That would be super easy!

Anyway if you guys or gals (especially you girls!) have any cool ideas lemme know :bigthumb:

i like both of your ideas but i think the first one would be more "romantic" i guess. i bet she would like that one more. the stars on the ceiling is kindaaa kiddish i guess.

also girls like effort.. so yea im saying number 1!

wow that is a really awesome idea. Both are good but with the second one she may read it before the moment you want her to. You will have to let us know how it goes that is just too cool :bigthumb:

The first one sounds the best, not only is it a nice way to get engaged but you could become members of the mile high club all at the same time.

As long as your buddys dad is really cool.

Yeah fo with the first one. THen you can have the glow in the darks say somthing special so when the day comes to an end it's one more little thing for her to tell her friends to make them jealous.

we were sleeping together one night and he put stars on the ceiling...

or...

we were flying in a plane when lights on a plain spelled it out in plain english, etc etc.

would you like your kids to know its ok to sleep together before marriage by laying it out in a story?

I have a friend who did the Christmas light/plane thing that was a pilot and the "marry" somehow burnt a bulb and went out so it just said "me?"...
He was mortified...she thought it was HILARIOUS. Go with it though..just have a wing man on the ground. Good luck and congratulations!

You need to set her up with a big a$$ $$ dinner , or talk to one of her friends and have them ask how she expect you to pop the big question and do that as a set up. So then she is like wtf and clueless . And for going up in the plane just say i was over at so and sos and his dad asked if we wanted to go up in the plane. :bigthumb: Do it and best of luck to you

If you have access to a plane...

I'd take her up and teach her to Wing Walk... If she says no, close the door....
