New additions to the family(Now in the driveway)

813 Views 8 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  guidolyons
I'm hoping to bring them both home this week end. One to drive and 1 for parts. Both are 87 with the 4.2 and 5 speeds.the drivable one appears to have a 3" body and 33's. Other than that I believe they are all stock.

should fit in well with the rest of the family.

Heres the parts Jeep. it seems to be in fair shape body wise. It has a good tranny for the other Jeep and comes with a soft top and full soft doors. I think the motor may be shot in this one, not sure yet.

Those look nice. And from the pictures, the paint on your parts rig even seems to match the driver. What sort of buildup do you have planned?
And I'm sure you don't want that hardtop and the full steel doors. I'll come by and haul them away for you, ok? :):
Good score. What did you pay for the two if you don't mind me asking?
The driver will be just that, I am planning to remove the 3" BL and maybe go with a SOA, 33's and drive it for a while untill I decide to sell it or keep it.

The parts Jeep is still undecided. That will have to be decided when I pick them up and get a better look.

Either the parts Jeep or my 94 is getting built with Rockwells or Portals, I can't say for sure yet which though.

I picked both of'em up for $3000. I considered it buying the 87 driver and getting the other thrown in for free.
Nice snag...looks like a good deal. They both look very clean. Maybe you can piece the parts jeep together for a hardcore trail rig and drive and wheel the other 2. :bigthumb:
I have really been thinkin about doin that. Thats why the 87 Driver may get sold after winter, it will probly be the only way I can afford Portals or Rockwells. I may build the Parts Jeep for completly Off-road only and have the 94 for my DD/street legal trail Jeep. I won't really get to much done with the 94 untill spring.

You know this is your fault.

Thanks alot, Now I'll be hauling gravel for my dad to make room in the driveway.
