Supposed to be out in June 2002. No pricing yet. I have been in contact with RaceCar Dynamics (RCD) and here is what the kit has:

  • 6" lift progressive hot-wound, shot peened pre-set coils
  • Replacement Upper and Lower links with poly encased flex joints at the axle (johnny joints, not heims) and standard poly bushings at frame end. Lower link is a long arm design, goe sback to middle of door, about 2.5x the upper in length
  • Trackbar and swaybar relocation brackets, drop pitman arm
  • Upper link relocation bracket (does same as Skyjacker)
  • Replacement rear lift blocks with built in bump stops (so you do not have to stack blocks)
  • Grade 8 hardware
  • 4 Bilstein shocks
  • 2 remote reservoir bilstein shocks per coil are optional (in additon to the in-coil shock)

Other new Ram accessories include:
  • 2" & 3" leveling kits
  • front multiple shock system
  • front skid plate system (not impresed)
  • rear traction bar system (very desert "racer-ish" in look)
  • front light bar hoop (mounts partly though the factory cutouts in bumper, kind of cool)

In Skyjacker 7" kit the upper control arm uses the lower frame mount and upper axle mount, there is no relocation bracket. Go check the pics you posted in the long travel shcok thread.

The RCD one uses the Skyjacker 5" style with a built in dual shock tab. However, the top part of the bracket that the upper control arms typically contacts on the Skyjacker at full droop is much shorter on the RCD bracket. As the front of the bracket comes up and wraps over the top, it stops at the control arm bolt, leaving a bunch of room for the arm to travel.

It looks like it will be a good compromise between the 5"and 7" Skyjacker kits as a front box kit. Other than the taller rear blocks, it looks good.

Also, the Johnny joints it uses are rebuildable for much less than replacing heims and they have more misalignment ability than heims as well.

is that all it has in the rear is a bigger block? no add-a-leafs or anything? wouldnt that be like a 9 inch block then if it replaces the factory one.

From the tiny pic I have on their pamphlet, it looks like the blocks are 5" tall or so. Really hard to tell. The component picture is only 2"x3" and it shows all the parts, so they are tiny images to look at.
