I have a loud popping noise coming from my left front tire but only when i attempt to put it in 4 wheel drive and it sometimes will not lock in to 4 wheel drive if someone could help me that would be great and tell me how hard of a fix this will be
my '96 f150 had the same problem, when i opened up the hub, the locking ring inside the hub was in three peices....get the warn manual hub conversion and be happy. you will have to get out and lock your hubs in when you want 4wd, but the warn's are a whole lot better than that pos OE crap.
my ranger did the same thing and it would lock and unlock at random, causeing the steering wheel to jerk hard to the left, very hard to drive. what do drive flanges for a hp 44 cost Art?? where did you get them at.
