my t-case started leaking out the back were the drive shaft enters its not a bad leak but I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. is it easy to replace the seal or how much will it cost to have someone else do it?
oh by the way my truck is a 1/2 ton and I think it has a 231hd. do they make slip yoke eliminators for the rams?

Yep, they make tail-shaft eliminators. It's the same t-case as the jeeps use, which is nice. The internals are pretty much the same between the 231, 231HD, and 241.

The number and ratio of the planetaries changes, as does the width of the chain, but these guys know ALL about t-cases.

yep, mine does, er, did too. Go with the tailshaft eliminator if you wheel. It is $350, but it is a mod that is worth it!

I thought that if you install a slip yoke eliminator, you must replace the driveshaft for one that must be able to extend in the middle, like the front driveshaft, that helps it to go in and out when the suspensin moves. Am I right?
