well its been 9 years of military service, i finished my last day yesterday. man this is a wierd feeling. im going to college starting 11th of Jan. Ill probably end up in the national gaurd depending on the state of the world after i get out of school. to the rest of the military members, keep trucking. its been a a very interesting number of years. i look back at all the crap and hard times and just think how it made me a better man. I am in debt to the Army for giving me knowledge, a career path, and mostly how to be a productive human being. :shoot:

Congrats. We all owe you (and our other service men and women) a debt of gratitude. Good luck with school and life after the military. :bigthumb: :bigthumb:
thanks guy. it was a tough decision to end it. but im ready to be home with my wife and not worry about whats happening in the news and if i might get deployed.
Congrats on finishing your service. I just finished my sevice to the Army on the 26th of November. And am already enlisting again. Short but long story.

But congrats non the less.
Thanks for your service and good luck on future endeavors. I will be ending my 9 years in the USMC on June 2nd and moving back to KY.
9 Years? Damn, I only had almost 4 years in, then switched to the gaurd. I got out of active duty back in Feb. But at 9 years, that's usually when people have made up their mind to stay in and retire.
im doin my 4 years right now, callin it quits..my last day of work will be january 31st...cant wait to get, doin the college thing and all that good stuff!! :bigthumb:

you right Jason. My intentions were to complete 20 years. But after getting married and never seeing my wife, i had some decisions to make. I love the military, but its just not the life for me anymore. I can make WAY more money in the civilian world then if I stay with army aviation. right now i could easliy pull a 56 thousand dollar a year salary job. but im going to school, getting a degree and well see if we cant bump that up some.
thank you for your years of service :bigthumb:
my cousin has been in 13 years, thanks for everything man and hopefully things work great for you, i thought long and hard about joining but i couldnt, too many previous injuries the USMC wouldnt pay to fix.
