I know that the 94-2001 Ram is the widest fullsize truck on the market. i was wondering if anyone had the measurements for the new Ram as far as how wide it is?

I couldn't say the width of the new Ram, however I will say I think the '94-'01 Rams are the best looking trucks on the roads!! (or off the roads for that matter!!!!!!!) <IMG SRC="/board/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif">

Yes the Ram is the widest but not by much. The GMC Seirra H.D is 79.7 inches wide and the Ram is 79.9. So there isn't much of a difference but it is the widest yet.

yeah, got to love the look of the 94-01 rams. kind of fell in love with the new 04 chevys tho. saw one on the road the other day. has different headlights than the funky 03s. i want me an 04 2500 HD Duramax, but then i realized im in the military, dont make much money. yeah, rams are for sure a wide truck. cant make it through most fast food drive-thrus. much less the ATM thing at the bank..err being wide sucks at times.

I love my dodge don't get me wrong. But a new superduty sure feels wider on the inside than my dodge. I think the 94-97 dash was shorter so you had more legroom than the 98-2002. I like the looks of my dash, but it makes me feel cramped.

Man I guess I used to post more often back then. Thats the second post of mine I've seen lately thats 2 years old or older. And even though a superduty looks wider I do know for a fact that the 94-01 dodges were wider, just can't remmeber the numbers off hand.

the superduties are just hellaciously tall

and yes, the rams are still the best looking, especially lifted trucks on the market :D:
