This is what happens when you take a jump too big and too fast in a almost stock Ram 2wd. I hit a jump a couple days ago completely bottoming out my truck i though my fenders where gonna fly off.
here the damage from underneath. (more then just bent linkage)

At least the crossmemeber is bolted tothe frame and thus you should not need to weld anything. I would be sure to check the engine mounts and bellhoushing to motor area for cracks or anything else since you put a lot of stress on that connection when pulling/pushing on the crossmember.

Watch for leaks in case you bent theinput shaft and thus messed up the front seal/pump.

Dude, I wasn't worried about that dam crossmember till I saw yours. Then I remembered seeing something that the scrapin' community use to keep the thing from getting stuck on speed bumps. Check out this page, it has the crossmembers that are up out of the way.

This is by far the worst out of all the jumps ive done. Ive jumped my truck tons of time and have had no problems except for shocks they like to blow up on me.
Which is why its time for a Dodge Baja truck.
theres too many furds and toyotas havin all the fun.
I would be worried about jumpin a SFA because of the drivelines and all the xtra parts of a 4x4. it can be done though just watch a tuff truck compitition those guys are 4x4 and are in the air 70 percent of the time
