Guess Oklahoma isn't technicly advanced as Texas. Down here all hunting and fishing licenses are electronicly registered with Parks and Wildlife at point of sale. They just scan your DL, ask a few questions, and you have a hunting license.
:withstupid: just look it over after it prints out...easy as that,,,and as in ga look on line for your state wildlife site you will be able to sign up for courses find where they are and buy licenses,,i believe ga is the same as ky and if your born after 75 you need to do a hunters safety course which will be posted on the site,,
i do mine online every year. that way i know it's done right and that's it's on file with the DNR. then you can print out your license straight from their site. here's where you need to go since you are in GA.

for the hunter safety, everyone in my school had to take a course in seventh grade. if was DNR people who did it and it was free.
is there an age requirement for licenses? isn't it if you're under a certain age you have to take the safety course, but if you're older, you dont?

i've gone with my brother and past boyfriends many times, and i have yet to get a license :twak:
Don't you have to take the course until your 65 or something? I took the course at a local high school which is where it was held. I then get my license at the local Wal-Mart like others said.

I took mine while I was in highschool. It was actually a full credit class on wildlife management that included the Hunter education class. We even got to bring guns to school one day. I still have a vivid memory of this hot blonde holding a big double barrel. The site of her and that gun dropped the jaw of every guy in the class, including the teacher.
after you turn 18 in ohio you dont have to take the hunter safety course dirty, i dont have to worry about it though cause i hunt on my own land and dont need license or tags.
in NY, even if its on your own land, you need a license. wal mart has never screwed mine up, like said, its electronic and if it prints a tag, then you have a tag legally.
farmers i believe in NY can get nuisance permits, and they dont' need to have a license to kill them, if they do it themselves. not 100% sure on that though.
Here in VA you don't have to have a license on your own land but to get one you do have to take the class. I was thinking after 65 you don't have to take the class to get one anymore but I could be off on that.
