Thanks for your other replies.
I'm trying to make the best decision on a lift, weighing price & quality.(don't really want to spend $1000+ on a kit)
Also, I only need a lift good for all ON-road situations...
I saw where you had installed the 3" RC kit with springs up front. My question is... All other kits I've seen with springs 3" or more, all talked about needing upper control arms to keep alignment good. It didn't look like the RC kit had these. Did you put some on, or are they ok without them? Something else I need to consider is that I also want to put a 3" body lift on top of either the spring or spindle lift. What do you think?

Hello, the kit had only the springs, the alignment is right on the money,I work in a shop and my buddy lined it up with no problem, I also wondered if the alignment would be ok, but it has been on there for 80,000 miles with bigger tires than stock ,and still aligns perfect.A good friend of mine bought the complete 3" fabtech kit when I bought mine, he has the control arms and has been in our shop for new ball joints, already, it could be a fluke, but I look at it like this.he had a problem and spent double what I did, the control arms are for (TRAVEL) I am not going off road , and dont care what number my truck can make on that flex ramp ..anyway, if you go with the coils, get good shocks, then get the add a leafs for the rear,my cost was 310.00, and I am still smiling, YES put on the body lift..I am hoping that BIG box next to my tree is a body lift,,I told mrs. claus about it..so I will wait and see...You cant see it in the picture but I bought the rear inner fender skirts for my truck, just order them for the 4x4 and buy the rivets at the hardware store....makes the body lift look so much better, and NO dirt under my fenders.....good luck my friend..
