I got a 4x4 1990 B2600i SE extended cab mazda. I want to give it a 3" suspension lift and a 3" body lift. I found lots of body kits for this truck but no kit for the suspension lift. I got a good wish list but not sure if its a all encompassing kit.

~Add a leaf
~Shocks capable of a 3" lift
~Torsion bars
~3" body lift
~31" super swampers

Also does anybody know of any other trucks with similar suspension setups that I could substitute? I don't think its the same as a ranger because they weren't the same until 94. Maybe a nissan?

Thanks for all your help, George

Update: I ordered new shocks and add a leaf.

Shocks: HECKETHORN ROUGH COUNTRY NITRO 9000 GAS SHOCKS for front and back that are made for trucks with 2" to 8" lift.

The rear leaf will give me another 1-2".

I am also going to torque up the torsion bars up front.

I will stay with the 31" conservatively. I found a good set at: http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/packages/index.asp?ParentPacID=50#

Sounds good to keep it fairly minimal rather than going too big and worrying about breaking stuff... BUT...

31" LTB's can be had for around $88-95/tire... and rockcrawler rims are generally like $25/rim... So you should be able to get that package for closer to $500.

UPDATE:

Just put on my front shocks and got a good 1" lift. I didn't even touch the torsion bars yet. BTW. What is the rule of thumb with torqing the torsion bars? 1/2", 1" off the bumb stops??

Also still looking for a cheap way to get 31" wheels and Tires under $500. Any hookups?

Thanks. If only it would stop raining to get my rear shocks and leafs in.

im still trying to figure out how you gained a inch in lift just by putting new shocks on considering shocks dont support any weight...

I'd say tighten them so you get no more than 1-1.5" of lift. That's a general number I keep hearing regarding many different makers of torsion bar IFS. Keep an eye on your steering and cv-joints, you don't want to get to much of an angle on them and fubar them.

I dunno where you can get new 31's and rims for under $500, that's really pushing it. I had a hook up at a local tire place and managed to get a set of 31" Mud Kings for $335. Adding rims, even with the discount, would have still been around $450. Unless you know someone like I did, I doubt you could do as well.

That said the LTB's are a good tire for the money and are relatively cheap. From the ads that National Tire & Wheel, Tyres International, and Desert Rat have up I'd say you could get a set and some 15x8 black steelies for under $700 delivered. Do some calling and see who will match or beat prices.

Thanks Man! I need to find the time to do this. Still haven't put in the rear shocks and add-a-leaf and lastly the damn 3" body lift which I know will be a bitch.

check to see if it has the same suspention parts as the ranger.

The B-series was a seperate, entirely Mazda product before 1993. 1993 and later are Ranger clones.

I am wondering if I can fab some brackets for this truck or fab control arms to get the front up higher. Anybody have success with this??? I am thinking what if I get the measurements for the front IFS crossmember and lower control arms I can get it fabbed up to lower the pivot points or call up Superlift or something to see if another truck setup would fit.
