Hello, I purchased a 3 inch lift, from rough country ,and after sending lots of parts back and forth to get the right ones,it is on there, I like the look of it, I put 285-75-16 tires on the stock 7 inch aluminum rims, they rub just a bit when I turn hard , in the parking lot , but not enough to worry about..if I dont hang an axle under it , a body lift will be next....

Thats weird that you get rubbing with 285's and a 3" lift. my dad has a 2wd with 265's and still a little bit of room, they really do fill up the wheel wells, though.

I have the 3" Rough Country lift on my 2001 Off Road and no problem fitting 315/75R16 on a 16x10" rim (no rubbing at full turn)

I put the rough country 2inch spacer lift and a 1 inch lift in the rear and they said my max tire size is 265 75 R16. And there is no rubbin at all.

Hey, as you can see by my specs I had a stock 2wd quad cab, did the Pro-Comp 3" Suspension lift (that's a spindle/block kit), and my 285/75/r16's clear. I couldn't go any bigger, but those fit. hope that helps.
