Does anyone know the safe fording depth of a 2000 Ram 1500 4x4? I have 285 tires so how much should I add to the stock fording depth?
Are there any kits to extend up the vent tubes for the tranny or diffs? Any other areas to be concerned with when crossing water? Thanks for any info.

Check out the above address(or link if it comes out that way)
As for a safe fording depth? I'd say anything up over your front bumper is probably too deep. Thats just me though. That may in fact be way too deep, or not even close. Main thing is to keep the intake DRY.
Tranny breather. Look around in posts, this has been discussed. Sorry I can't direct you to the posts regarding the issue, I can't recall where there at. Somewhere under Dodge 4x4.
