how is the front hubs set up on these trucks, just splined outter stub shafts into splined drive flanges or what, i got one under my 78 f150 and was wondering about using it for my SAS.

it should be just drive pucks in the hubs, you just take off the cover, pull the snap ring's and remove the puck and spacer and then put in springs and lockouts if you want part time
i think im gonna leave them full time and just use my t-case to switch in and out of 4x4, are they reliable
Since there is no moving parts a$$ociated with drive slugs...yep, about the more reliable than even a warn hub!!!

the front end wont be locked so im gonna guess they would just be like driving any other 4x4 right
As long as you either have a NP203 case or run it with the tcase in 2wd, yep on the street just like the newer rams. Once on dirt and in 4wd, it will act just like any other 4wd...except you don't need to lock your hubs in!
