I upgraded to Firefox 1.5 which was moved from Beta to Release today. So far so good, easy install and it kept all my profile info this time.

I also added several extensions. Some are for web devlopement and others are "nice to have's".

  • FasterFox - Tweaks a few settings in Firefox for better performance
  • Web Developer - Adds a toolbar that allows you to disable Firefox features, view and edit CSS and forms, resize things, control images, display all kinds of info about the page, all inline with thepage you are viewing.
  • Foxy Tunes - Integrates audio player controls into status bar to control nearly any player
  • Download Statusbar - Adds download status to statusbar (duh!)
  • View Rendered Source Chart - Lets you view source ocde of any page and it will render blocks and tables , etc all indented and in different colors. Great for locating specific code

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize it was released, yet. It has certain contributor status features, too.
