Few comp. questions...

I was looking for BIOS updates for my comp, and cant find any at all, not even the original version.. But there is an update for the Chipset. I've never heard of a chipset update.. Are they basicly the same?? Since I cant find any that match the BIOS my sys says is on it, but I cant find updates for the chipset... No clue what to do, not worried about it now, but I needed it while reinstalling XP, spent 2 frickin days screwing with it trying to get it to install.. I wont be using this comp much longer, only use it for file storage.. To old, outdated, upgraded as far as it will go. Plus that, in Jan we will have wireless out where I live, 1.1 mbps speed, I want a comp that can keep up with all I want to do with it, now that I'll have something better than I have now ( 7 kbps LOL ).. Which leads me to my next question....

I'm going to built my next comp. So far I'm looking at a AMD 3000 setup, I can get it for 200 bucks ( motherboard, and CPU ) the guy that does the work on our office computers is who I'm going to get it from... Just wondering if the motherboards come with all the cables and such.. I'm pretty sure they do, just wanna make sure...
