I was under my truck the other day and i noticed the exhaust was loose from the headers. I checked it out and both side were very loose and one of the bolts on one side didnt even have the nut on it. Does anyone kno what could have caused this? My exhaust hasnt been messed with since June when i had the headers installed. im at a loss

probably didnt retorque the bolts
when things get hot and then cool down, the bolts tend to become loose
so when you install new bolts, you need to recheck the torque for a couple weeks and make sure everything stays tight and then periodically check it from then after

:withstupid: :withstupid: Also when you put the headers on did you use Locktite? I just installed my Edelbrock ceramic coater headers and they said to use lock tite. I have been running them almost a week and they have not came loose at all yet.
