Early Christmas

Well I am getting a early christmas tommorow. I ordered some stuff last monday and thanksgiving backed up the shipping and most of it should be here tommorow. I got a set of edelbrock ceramic coated headers, 2 high flow carsound cats, 2 magnaflow mufflers, 21LB injectors, 1.7 RR's, transgo shift kit, TCI deep tranny, 1-Kicker solo baric L7 15" sub, 1-Memphis 1000D amp, and I also ordered a new end for my skyjacker trac-bar from don that replaces the heim end and puts a bushing on there so now the trac-bar shouldnt be popping all the time. I plan on running 2.5" pipe to the cats and then from the cats to the mufflers 3" pipe. Hopefully I will be able put the headers on monday night and then go to the muffler shop tuesday morning and have the rest of the exhasut work done. Would it be ok to drive the truck to the muffler shop with just straight headers on it? THat way incase the y-pipe dont match back up with the headers perfect I can still drive it up there?

Yeah, I done seen it too...when he got done, he used Benjamin Franklins to clean the grease off his hands!

:D:
I heard Roberto's mommy and daddy are getting him a platinum and diamond 4-finger ring made that says "Doge". Apparently they can't spell either. :flipoff:

BTW, who the hell cares where he gets his money... as long as it isn't off somebody's fridge. :bad:
Yep ya'll figured me out. Just a little rich daddys boy. Yeah right. I think that I will pass. And also just for the record chuck I have never stole anything out of anyone house. THat is the stupidest way to ruin a business and to loss a good job fast.

Well, I got my headers, sub, amp wiring kit, and shift kit today. I decided to go ahead and bolt up the headers so that I could go to the muffler shop in the morning to get the rest of the exhaust work done. I got all of the bolts out except for the back middle stud broke flush with the manifold. I was able to get the manifold off but it still left about a 1-2" stud sticking out. I sprayed it with PB blaster about 5 times within a hour and let it sit couldnt break it loose with vice grips. So I tryed heating up the head around the stud and that didnt work either. So I ended up just getting some High temp RTV sealant and just left the stud there for now. If I have a lot of problems with it leaking then I will pull the header back off and drill it out. Other than that the headers were pretty easy to do. Now that I have done it next time will be eaiser. I started about 6 and it took about 5 hours total working time on it pretty much by myself. My amp, 21lb injectors, and trac-bar end shipped out today. So hopefully I will have it by the end of the week. The tranny pan is back order until the 13th though. I will wait and put the shift kit in once I get the pan in. And hopefully the RR's shipped out today. I am not real sure though. Also all of this end up running me $1900 and I will probaby drop another 200-300 tommorow on all new exhaust. Aftr that I should be threw for a while. My grandpa died last saturday so the rest of the money that I have left will be paying for a plane ticket for my brother to come home tommorow from las vegas.

I got the rest of the exhasut done today. I dropped the truck off at 8 this morning and picked it up at 3 and it sounds awesome. The cats are 2.5" pipe in and out but on the out he was able to use 3" pipe and ran that all the way to the mufflers. It woke the truck up pretty good plus it sounds awesome too when I really get on it about 4K RPM's and then once at highway speed it is not real loud. I cant even hear it over the tires. It ended up running me $150 for everything installed. I got a hell of a hook up. :bigthumb:
glad to see you were telling the truth when you told me you couldnt afford to buy the tires and backed out on me after i had held them for you for several months, loser
nice set up, I cant wait to hear it. :bigthumb: Must be nice to be able to spend all kinds of money on a play toy.

What did you do with the old glass pack? I loved the sound of that truck with it.

That was taken off a couple months ago right after I got the truck. I think that I still have the glass pack in my storage building. I will check but by the time you pay for shipping and then pay someone to install the glass pack you could probably just buy a new one. New ones are cheap.
