CREW-cold rolled electric wlded, HREW-hot rolled electric welded, DOM-drawn over mandrel. i believe CREW is used in pretty most all kinds of piping, i aint sure, HREW can be used in most tube work being done in a vehicle, suspension, exo, etc., DOM has a more uniform wall thickness than HREW and is stronger.

Should be DOM, but some use HREW. I guess thicker HREW would work allright

I am not sure what size tubing I will be using. It will be at least 2". I need to find out what size the inserts are the I will be getting before i decide what the inside diameter will be.

inserts for what?

If you have a pro-class race truck you need DOM tube because it is a little stronger. If not then any good "tube" bender will do with some mild steel 2" 120 wall.

I will have to insert the deals into the end that get welded to the pipe so that I can screw in the rods ends. I am not sure if I will be using bushing or hiems but I will be making them adjustable.
