Ok, had to drop off the truck this morning because of a knock in the tranny.... turned out to be a bad Torque converter and front spline! Heres the catcher I had the tranny rebuilt at 27000+ miles, and I have been complaining that the tranny has been sluggish for over 2 months... dealer says that I have to pay the $100 deductable because i have passed the 12k mile mark since the rebuild (I am at 43k now) there for will not wave the charge. Now what i am wondering, can replacing a rear seal on the engine and not putting it back together right cause the spline and torque converter to fail? Also, pisses me off that it wasnt knocking until after they replaced the seal. Also, i am at 16k... 4k over what they warranty it for... Has anyone out there EVER had problems with the front inner-spline going bad... not like this tranny is problem free for goodness sakes!
