this sunday we decided to do a little wheelin trip to a place in mass. the place is really lame and softcore but we figure its better than sitting home doing nothing.quite a few rigs made it out including some ps.com members. Quick10ss, redlinebk, superdutymudder, and Bigred1.

I did not get to take my truck as planed and rode shotgun due to a slight misshap in my driveway :wall: my engine bay went up in flames when i changed my carb over for the trip. the fire started at the carb, traveled up to my wiring harness, up my weather stripping, down the engine and onto the tranny and almost to the t case. a fire extinguisher and 5 pots of water later i put out the fire. I already got the truck running again with the help from a couple friends, thanks mike and nathan(quick10ss) you saved the day. some $$$$, a free distributor from quick10ss, and all day under the hood everything is sorta back to normal. :D:

i have a couple pics from my camera phone(bad quality). quick10ss has some good pics so maybe he can post them up.

heres a shot of under the hood after my little campfire haha

haha yea maybe this time my truck wont catch on fire and we will actually make it into the woods and not just on the muddy open section....but that open muddy path is pretty fun i must say haha
I used to live like 15 minutes from there. I used to go back there with my Jeep, but I've never seen it that muddy though. Guess we have all that rain to thank.

It IS kinda lame, but so is most of Mass unless you want to drive 2 hours plus out to the real trails.

Sucks about the fire, glad you have it up and running again.
