I lost my track-bar at 20K, and need to replace it again at 42K... Stock trackbars just can't hold up to wheeling.

The DT should work well for you.

Also check the tie-rod and drag-link for wear at their joints, and also check the steering arm for play:

Disconnect the drag-link from the pitman arm and then wiggle the pitman. It shouldn't move, at least not without turning the steering-shaft (from steering-wheel to steering box) as well.
