I want to level out the front of my standard cab 1500 2wd. I might use 2" Daystars, but I am wondering what Dodge Ram coil springs I could use to lift the front 2" or so. 1500 4x4 springs? 2500 4x2 springs? Thanks.

You could get off-road package springs, or you could probably run springs from a 2500. The 2500 4x4 springs are 2" taller than stock (for a 1500), but aren't as stiff as the off-road ones are.

The offroad spring would lift a stock 4x4 2" I think. Wouldn't those springs lift a stock 1500 4x2 a lot more than that?

Doh! Didn't really read your first post... I assumed you were a 1500 4x4...

So, I must change my answer to the highly usefull:

"I don't know".

Sorry, I know squat about 2wd front-ends...

I'm searching for a custom hood for my 97 1500. My hood preferance would be one that is styled like the ram air trans am. I was wondering what company any one would suggest to purchase a hood.
