This bracket is REALLY nice. Very sturdy construction, nicely painted/coated. Doesn't like like "hack" install, either. Looks very professional.

I removed the two screws on the plastic cover under the dash over the "hump", and cut into the carpet there (or just ran under the edge of the carpet), and pulling back the carpet there, I ran my CB antenna and power wires back along either side of the hump to under the front seat. Then I made another slit in the carpet, and pulled the wires on up. Can't tell that they are there at all.

Radio is in a nice position, but be carefull that you leave enough room under the radio for the antenna wire to screw into the radio.

I get a number of compliments on it when people peek into the cab.

I mounted the mic bracket to the side of the radio, so that it drops into place easily. Never had it fall out off-road.

I've been really happy with it. The GF, not so much so. I have a reg cab, so it reduced my people-carrying ability by 1/3. She'd rather that I be able to take a second passenger, but I don't mind too much. Course I'm not the one trying to figure out how to site there with it in the first place.... :):
