Broken Coil Spring Bucket...what to do?

I just purchased a 02 Jeep GC last month, got it for a steal, and has less than 100k on it...

Have had a clunk in the front end for two days now so I got under it last night to inspect...

Instantly saw the sway bar link is broken off the coil spring bucket and the front of the bucket is crumbling, you can see a hole I put my thumb through with a little pressure.

My dilemma...I just moved and lost my garage, welder and a lot of tools.
Looking at three options:
-Borrow a welder and weld the link back on and try to reinforce the bucket
-Go to a junk yard or buy a new bucket, borrow a welder and redo the entire thing
-swap the axle

Just looking for options on what you would do.

There is a decent jeep/truck junkyard within an hr of me and has a few there. Asking $130 for the axle and I pull it. Just dislike buying parts I have little knowledge of its use and past. I'll want to take the entire thing apart before putting it in.

And I am glad you mentioned what else could be compromised. I was focused on single aspect and not looking at a bigger picture ::thumbsup::
