I've had a few people ask me to put up pics of my new paint job. I'm sure I will limit myself to the pavement for some time now, but I did take it the day I got it back and played in some mud puddles and climbed a few little hills with it, just for picture purposes. Yes, I know how completely useless my truck is now for offroading, but I still use it to tow the camper and the trailer full of 4-wheelers. I will say, though, my kids absolutely love it now when I pick them up at school. :
that sure looks nice. where did you get the tailgate? I like it. I bet that cost a load of $$ but then again it's your truck do as you see fit. over all man I would have to say it looks nice. but not quit my style.
I built the tailgate myself. I molded the skull into it with fiberglass and resin. I know it is not a lot of people's style, but it's fun to look at. I enjoy watching people steer their car into oncoming traffic while they are staring at my truck. I've done everything to the truck myself except for the paint. If it wasn't for the help of many people on this site, I would have never figured out many of the problems I've had with this truck. The last thing I'm doing to the tailgate is, drilling small holes in the eye sockets and wiring up some small red leds to the brake lights.
Thats {expletive}ing badass. COmthing i want to do minus a few colors. I want someone to look at my truck and {expletive} themselfs lol. I got this gargoyle guy i am going to put on top of my tool box when i get one.
That's all right, I don't expect everyone to like it. I was surprised I wasn't banned when I bought the 20s, but I've noticed it is becoming a lot more common on PS. There seem to be quite a few guys running 18s or 20s now. Like I said before, it's still the same truck, just different paint. Still the same lift, wheels, tires, disgusting interior thanks to my 3 boys. I was nervous to do it at first, but the guy who painted it, told me it wasn't a big deal. It's only paint, if you don't like it, we can do it again.
I think the tailgate ruins it. The concept and the work done is nice, it just doesnt look good on the truck, just my opinion. I still think your actually truck is clean. What lift combo are you running?
Not my cup of tea either, but looks like some very quality work there. I dont think Ive ever seen your truck before, it looks clean and well built; it's different for sure. Im all about doing what looks good to you, though it'd be hard to resist taking it on trails. Nice work. :bigthumb:
