mopar performance has good "mini" high torque starters, but the factory ones are still high torque. its a gear reduction starter from the factory, and has been for over 50 years.

I saw that I can get a 200 ft-lb powermaster starter for a chrysler engine for $199 from summit. Do you think there would be any advantage at all to using this as opposed to the stock starter? Even if it wouldn't make any improvements, do you think it would be more reliable?

does it say what motor its for? (A,R,B, LA, OR MAGNUM). im not sure if an A motor starter will work or bolt onto a Magnum motor.
