ok so I have owned a 1996 camaro... since it had 3 miles on it... well now it has 165,000 miles... gets 24mpg.... only 200hp but a good all around car... I have NEVER and i repeat NEVER (until now) had a problem with snow... so I drive from home.. as it is only raining.... as I hit a backroad that is a popular one... my usual 55mph drive is 30mph... that is cool..... well i go over the comm barry bridge.... still ok... I hit rt95s.... OH MY FRICKEN GOD!!!! DO THEY KNOW WHAT PLOW TRUCKS ARE!!!! 3 lanes wide..... I was in the middle lane at 15mph..... gotta go 2 miles..... well the back of the camaro came out.... I was in a 90 degree position now.... both guys one on left and one on right went wide so I fit...... Kept sliding as now it seems we are on ice.... well I slid right behind the guy in the right lane..... now I am in a 180 degree position and still sliding.... people in the right lane are now darting to the middle lane.... so now I stop.... well a light gas pedal will not allow the car to move... so I floor it.... revs up and shifts gears... well now the momentum of the tires get me moving..... so I spin around... and still couldnt keep the car straight... it was sideways for the next 1 mile.... then I got to my exit.... from there I had to stop at wawa.....

sounds like a wild ride, glad your ok and nothing happened
You know you were just showin off for some hottie in the car next to ya! haha. Nah im kiddin though, glad your ok! Was this last night because that "Snow Storm" we were supposed to get sure looks like ice to me! All the trees here and my yard are pretty much iced over.
It's nasty out right now. As I was driving around cars were skidding past stop signs into intersections at 30mph. Stupid fools around here think that their Cadillac Escalades and Lincoln Navigators think they can stop as good as they can go. I see people SPEEDING on snow covered roads. Looks like a yuppie version of mad max with fancy cars in ditches and banged up from trees and curbs.

Glad to hear you didn't get hurt, someone could have easily plowed right into you.

well I started out in freezing rain so figured id be ok.. .but once i hit mullica hill (5 point intersection at wawa on 322) it turned to snow....
Then on 95s i guess i cought the berm that the plows made..... this was at 6:20am!!!!!
yeah all i got here was freezing rain and rain. i wanted snow damnit
it never snows here, ive never actully seen snow, i saw sleet for 5 minutes though! i wish it would snow.
I think the storm ran out of snow over Pa. We got 9 inches of the crap at my place...
we got freezing rain here, just enough to cover the road but then it all melted today, but we still got snow on the ground from monday, i just saw the weather and here next thurday were suppose to get more which would be real good, i wouldn't mind starting Christmas break a few days early.
We got snow and some ice earlier this week. I took my little min pin ice skating on our driveway :D: It was really funny to watch her slide around like bambi. Then when we went in the grass where the snow was, she kept lifting one back leg, putting it down and lifting the other. Then at one point she lifted both back feet and looked like she was trying to do a handstand haha. I wish I had taken the camera out cuz it was hilarious. :rotfl: :rotfl:
