well ive had my Rancho RS 9000"s on for about a year. I keep them set a 5 in the front and 3 in the back. Well i read somewere the other day that when i go off-road to put them all on 9, now what would be the benefit of that? why do they all need to be on 9 when four-wheeling?

i believe it is because if they are set at the firmest setting they will help keep your wheels planted to the ground, like they wont be soft and allow the axel to flex up when u ride over bumps or holes.
