hey my friend wants to get one with 90,000 miles on it and its going for $4,500. what you guys thing and is there any way to lift it somehow and what are the biggest tires you can get on that sucker. he wants to keep up with me and my friend 4 runner. both have 35's.

I think old man emu (arb) makes a lift for them. I've seen a few lifted land rovers

they make kits and stuff but prices for Rover stuff is ridiculous.

Oh yeah...probably won't fit 35's under a discovery. Most likely 33s

the narrowest 33s you can find.

I used to have a 94' land rover that i wanted to lift, but all of there stuff is too expensive, and mine at about 100,000 miles fell apart so i got rid of it

If he builds it right he is going to put your 4runners to shame. Here is a before and after pic of my friend Derricks Rover... after he got done building it. It goes nearly anywhere and it is a great looking rig!

Dude, have your friend contact me before he buys. You can't go bigger than 32's without upgrading the axles.

He can go to http://www.lrrforums.com and talk to "Tony DII". He can get you a great OME lift for a great price.
