Does anybody know the exact type of tranny in a 85 Yota? Its a 5 speed manual, solid front axle, and it is EFI. Someone told me that 85 was the only time a solid front axle and EFI were on the same Yota.
those trucks are like the left overs and im sure if they would send them we would buy them.by the way these 2 post are mine and couldnt login so.....guys my handle is 68 bullit
the way the carburator/efi works on these little trucks goes like this,
you got efi if your model was a sr-5.you got other things like chrome bumpers, tailight bezels, grille, windshield trim, door handles, digital clock, different guages, chrome wheels, etc
on the carburated models you got basically black bumpers, grille yada yada yada.
sr5 not always include all that chrome and extra options...
i own one...
every peice of documentation says it is one and so does the vin info...
it has the 22re but thats about it as far as those extra options go...
