I want to add 4 more inches to my truck which is already equipped with a 3 inch body lift and 33 inch tires. I can't decide if i should go with the ranch or the trailmaster 4" lift. I've never put in an IFS kit before, so if either of these kits are easier, I'd prefer the easier one. if anyone could tell me how difficult and what kind of results I can expect from these 2 lifts, I'd really appreciate it. thanks

Off Road magazine did a tech article on the 4" lift for silverado, however it was on a 99. I think the lift is only the same for 88-98. In any event the rancho lift is about $400 less.

i would buy the rancho kit because it has a one piece sub frame. also check with a local shop i believe that to install either kit you need a special tool for the torson bars.
