man that’s 8 inches of lift. with the proper back spacing, i sure don’t know what they would rub on. the tread width is only 11.5 inches and you are going to mount them on a 9.75 wheel. get additional advice from other folks – but i just don’t see these tires rubbing. the only thing that i have seen in a 16.5 x 9.75 is with weld racing. the backing spacing is 4 5/8 but with them being 9.75 in width, i would think that they would be ok. most other 36 x 14.5s have a tread width of 12 + inches. again, i think that you would be ok...

i run that same lift setup (5"+3") with 36x14.5r15 swamper radial tsl's on 15x10 black steelies with 3.5" backspacing. mine is a '99 sport 1500, only time when it rubs is when the wheels are turned full lock to the right and backing up(like with the wheel turned backing out of the drive). i could fix this by adjusting the bumper out a 1/2" or so.

im sure that setup will not rub at all. I have a 2000 4x4 sport with those same exact tires that you want on 16.5x12 weld super single wheels with a 5 inch sus. and the 3 inch body and i have not had any rubbing.
