318 in yota?
i have a 318 with auto tranny with 60,000kms on it out of a 79 car....bot sure wat kind....i was wondering what would be needed to swap this setup into a 4cyl toyota pickup (87) thanks

Alot of custom fabing. Although, ti wouldnt be much different from a 350 swap.

:If you do this swap, please post up. I have a spare fuel injected 318 and a a833 I have been thinking about putting in my 4runner.
Why not throw the 318 in it...and run a TF727 to dana 300. Or if you have enough wheelbase...slap in a divorced np205 behind what you have from the car. Crack the measuring tape out. Engine swaps are easy..and fun. I'm a$$uming you can weld and fab to a fair degree?

I take it youve never done an engine swap... expecally an EFI engine swap. Like the kind that takes 6-8 months of tuning and 3k before you get it runnign right.
