i was just wondering...how do they compare a pickup truck to a small or mid-size SUV...or is it pretty close because of ifs and similar engine options?
not a chevy or ford in the top 5, what a shame :idiot:

An H3 is a GM product.
oh yeah, i knew that :wall: ok, there is no chevy or ford "truck" :kicknuts:
they go threw a list of requirements before they pick the 4x4's each year like:
-each vehicle must have at least a two-speed transfer case
-have a planned production of no less than 2,500 units
-must be on dealer lots by january 15, 2006
-must be all-new or have major mechanical revisions that will make it perform significantly better off-road

i would have rather seen them put a Chevy and a Ford in the competiition, than a nissan and a suzuki, but we all know the Dodge still would take the victory even if they would have done that. :D:

but i guess since one of the requirements is that it has to be all-new, Ford and Chevy didn't change anything for '06 i guess.
Ok i dont see how any of that cna be compared. The dodge prolly had a v8 and more clearence then all the rest haha. The h3 and xterra are comparable the grand vitara? oki doki then. And hte commander is with the pickup i guess. Who writes and comes up with these ideas! hehehe :rotfl: :rotfl:
the Ram and the Jeep both had HEMI's :bigthumb:
Well by God, if the magazines say such and such a vehicle is better than the rest, I better go buy that certain vehicle, right now!

Consumer Reports consistently gives Mitsubishis good remarks because why? Because they test a car for like, at most, a year...they don't bother to hang onto that vehicle for 3-5 years, like the average consumer does, and rate it after that amount of time or mileage. Every other Mitsubishi product I see going down the road, that is 4+ years old or older is smoking like a tree on fire. :poke:
:withstupid:

This can been seen with the new hybrids. The estimated MPG on the stickers are off by on average 10mpg in real life driving. And the actual savings is 1penny per gallon over a normal econobox but cost 4000$ more. Yet alot of magazines tested them on a track for a few months and gave great reviews. I hate car magazines there are a few good ones but stuff like that really makes me go WHAT WERE THEY THINKING? They criteria for what makes hte list is dumb. Should be Best 4x4 with a test of all 4x4's made that year if its new or not. :bigthumb: even then you have to catagorize into different things. Sigh i hate vague journalism :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
