I was just wondering if anyone has installed themselves the tuff country axle pivot brackets. I ordered a pair and am ready to put them on.If so, how difficult is it and how long should it take? Any info would be appreciated.BTW, the instructions that they sent are not very descriptive as to how to go about installing them.

The pivot brackets arent bad but the radius arm brackets are a bitch to get the factory rivets out of!

Radius brackets were cake. Pivot brackets suck cause it;s hard to get at a few, Just get a good air chisel and they will be out in no time.

Gotcha :bigthumb:
Be sure to have a cable winch handy. When trying to install the bolts you may need it to pull the front end back together. I had mine on jackstands and things spread out a bit on me. The $10 hand winch was great for getting things lined up. Be sure the hole you drill under the driver side is in the correct spot. Remember to measure twice & drill once, not the other way around like I did. :silly: Also, double nut the two bolts on the driver side if you have room. The pass side bracket had to have a bit of grinding done and a jack to push into place, but that may have been due to my offroading prior to install. At any rate, it wasn't all that bad & sure made it easier to get the front end aligned correctly.
for all the rivets i took mine to a muffler shop and they plasma cutted all mine off and installed grade 8 bolts i supplied to them for 30 bucks. they even let me play with the cutter. so i paid 30 bucks to cut my rivets out....lol
