Is it possible to use 15 inch rims on a 01 ram? I know that they will work on the 97 range years, but I have heard that the 01 calipers won't clear the rims. Does it depend on the brand of rim?

It will depend on the wheel, but most have to have the caliper ground on a bit. Not something I would like to do. Besides, the price for 16" wheels and tires has dropped quite a bit in the past few years. By no means, the cost of 15" stuff, but still better than it used to be.

I know for a fact, that the Centerline Hellcat 15x10 will fit...

There is a member who has a set, and the look great, and fit with minimal grinding from what he had said....

Something about grinding on the brakes just doesnt sit right with me. I think I would spend a little more money and not have the worry..

has anyone taken the time to look at the full size spare tire on their truck to see if it is a 15 or a 16? I forgot to look at mine last time it was up on a rack.

The spare rim on the off-road is a 16. I checked this recently when looking at clearance for an exhaust system.
